Google Firebase is used for building applications for web and mobile platforms like Android, iOS, etc. Firebase is developed by Google and is the preferred choice for smaller teams and small to moderate-sized projects and provides more functionality.
Firebase doesn’t support big data processing which is needed for bigger projects where AWS Amplify comes in.
