SAP S4 HANA finance is a very important module that's used to manage SAP Finance and Accounting.

SO, in SAP S4 HANA BI tools are used to perform financial and accounting operations in real-time. Basically, SAP HANA helps us to observe the monetary conditions of a company.

SAP FICO is abbreviated as FI (Financial Accounting) and CO (Controlling).

SAP FI is employed for external reporting purposes, for example, creating a record, Profit, and Loss statements.

SAP CO is employed for an internal coverage purpose, for instance, Product cost accounting, profit, profit center accounting.

So, the essential distinction is SAP HANA comes under the technical module while SAP FICO comes under the functional Module. SAP HANA is a Reporting tool.
