A freelancer in business analyst is quite different from getting a job as a business analyst in an organization. Becoming a freelancer offers you the flexibility and comfort of working from your preferred place and that could be your home or any place. 

Here are some tips on how to become a freelance business analyst: 

• Become comfortable in joining an online job or work portal to get work online, like freelancing websites like Upwork, Toptal, Fiverr, etc.
• Becoming a freelancer means you are your own boss, and you need to take care of your marketing, the first thing to do, is to market your skillsets so that a verified employer will look up to you to get their work is done. 
• Start with nominal fees for your service, as you are new to this domain, and focus on upskilling yourself by acquiring certifications online from famous certification portals like Udemy, Coursera, etc. As with more experience and skillset, you could charge higher on a per-hour basis.
