What is the difference between a Business Analyst, Project Manager and Scrum Master?

Could someone tell me what is the difference between a Business Analyst, Project Manager, and Scrum Master?

All these three roles are different from each other, within a project. Now, projects are two types, Waterfall, and Agile. The waterfall is linear type, whereas, Agile is more flexible and involves continuous iterations of the development and operations in the software development. So, if the project is Waterfall, then there is no need of a Scrum Master, as Scrum only dwells in an Agile environment. Business Analysts are the professionals who live with data, gathers them by bridging the gap between customers and the development teams, analyze them, and extract meaningful insights from it to help make informed decisions help businesses grow.

Project Manager is a professional who manages Projects by planning them, executing them according to the plan, and then work towards completing them within the stipulated time. And Scrum Master is more like coach or trainer of a team, which focuses on completing a given task in an Agile environment, i.e., flexibly. They have a list of tasks like Sprint planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint review, Backlog Refinement, etc., and the coach or Scrum Master tries to resolve if any error or difficulty creeps in the process.
