The A+ certification from CompTIA is the first step toward building a career in IT. It is a globally recognized certification for entry-level technicians. CompTIA A+ lays the foundation for you to master the techniques of troubleshooting, installing, maintaining, and repairing mobile and computer hardware.

To gain the certification, you are required to clear two certification exams: CompTIA A+ 220-1001 and CompTIA A+ 220-1002 exams. These exams aim to validate your skills for entry-level job positions in IT. Each of these exams comprises 90 questions in the multiple-choice format, and you get 90 minutes to complete the same.

The CompTIA A Plus certification is valid for 3 years.
