If you wish to be an AWS SysOps associate, you need to register for the certification and clear it. You will get an allotted time of 130 minutes to answer 65 questions in the testing center or online proctored exam. One would need to score 72% to pass the SOA-C01 exam.

There are new updates introduced in 2021 to the AWS SysOps examination to keep up with the latest innovations and advancements in AWS for the role of SysOps administrator. According to the changes, this new exam: AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate (SOA-C02) includes a set of multiple choice and multiple response types of questions, along with lab activities.
The multiple-choice questions have one correct answer out of the four given options, while the multiple-response questions have two correct answers out of five. The lab involves a scenario consisting of various tasks that can be performed with the help of AWS CLI or AWS management console.
