Computer science engineers help develop and configure the computational requirements for electric vehicles. This includes the configuration and development of algorithms for the battery management systems (BMSs) and IoT modules that provide real-time data generated by the operation of EVs.
Just like any other type of vehicle, EVs have many mechanical and moving parts. The designing and development of all these parts, vehicle frames, suspension systems, etc., are the responsibility of mechanical engineers.
Electric vehicles are heavily dependent on sophisticated electronics. There are electronic modules that control most aspects of an EV’s operation. The design, development and testing of all electronic modules, driver circuits, wiring systems and many other key components are the responsibility of electronics and communication engineers.
The very principle of operation of EVs needs the knowledge and expertise of electrical engineers to design and test the wiring and power systems of electric vehicles.

Upon successfully completing the course and passing the certification exam, you will be awarded an Advanced Certificate in Electric Vehicle by E&ICT Academy IIT Roorkee.
