There is no requirement for a GATE score for this M.Tech degree program. If you have a valid GATE score, please share the same at the time of the admission process.
The admission process for the artificial intelligence and ML program is as follows:

The M.Tech degree will be awarded to the candidates upon fulfilling the academic criteria as set for the program (i.e earning of 54 credits)
This M.Tech is for working professionals doesn’t demand full-time availability. Candidates can take this M.Tech degree program without leaving their current job. The classes will be conducted over weekends.
Candidates need to devote approximately 12 hrs per week to effectively learn the concepts taught in the live sessions conducted by VNIT Nagpur faculty and industry experts.

The M.Tech for working professionals degree program uses a Continuous Evaluation System as conducted for regular courses in VNIT Nagpur to assess the learners over convenient and regular intervals. This will give timely and frequent feedback and help busy working professionals stay on the program.
The dissertation in the 2nd year enables students to learn and explore the concepts and techniques learned during the program. You will be allocated a mentor to guide you during the dissertation.
Yes, If you want to drop from the program before it is completedafter 1 year then you will be awarded with PG Diploma certificate upon fullfilling the academic critieria as set for the programme (i.e earning 40 credits). For PG Diploma, the students has to pay INR 3,14,022 (inclusive of all).
The end-semester examination will be conducted in physical mode at the prescribed centres. However midterm exams will be held in online mode. Exam scheduled will be communicated to the students well in advance.
