Virtualization and containerization allow you to deploy multiple web services on a single platform. Although they allow you to deploy multiple web services on a single machine, they function entirely different from each other.

Containerization repeatedly uses the same Operating System instead of installing a separate Operating system for each guest Virtual Machine. Virtualization, on the other hand, simulates the system hardware to create a virtual system.
