Migrate EC2 from AWS to Azure

Question

I am continuously getting stuck in the protection group. There is a requirement to transfer my Amazon EC2 instance to Azure.

Can you help me with the procedure?

I used an EC2 VHD to a hyper-V enabled machine on-premises 

Follow these steps to migrate your instance:

1. Remove the AWS related software and create a Virtual Machine from the VHD.
2. Use the Hyper-V machine to create a VM from the VHD
3. You will have to log into the uninstalled AWS services and the VM that has just been created.
4. You will see how the changed have reflected on the VHD, upload this VHD to the Azure storage.
5. Log in to the Azure portal to create a VM image from this VHD.
6. Create the VM from this image.
