Could anyone explain the Convolutional neural network?

Convolutional Neural network (CNN) is a neural network that uses filters for spatial feature extraction from images and videos. CNN takes the images as input, uses mathematical operations convolution and pooling to learn the characteristics in images and be able to differentiate one from others. CNN is used for making applications for image classification, object detection, image segmentation, facial recognition, recommendation systems, etc.
