Hyper is the new in-memory data engine technology which will make query processing faster and effortless, as all the analysis process takes place by storing the information in the memory during analysis, rather than storing it directly to the storage which makes the process lengthy.

The Hyper was originally developed by a German start-up company that Tableau acquired in 2016.
