If you are new to the interview arena, then let me tell you that telephonic interview is just a way to understand the candidate and his/her abilities and whether they are genuine by checking their answers to what they wrote in their resume.

The interview process for Linux of for that matter any IT job, the first phase of screening would be the telephonic interview after resume segregation. To pass in Linux telephonic interview, follow the outlines steps:

  • Be confident in the first place and you need to market your skills in a proper manner, by keeping your answers concise and brief but containing all the important points.
  • Don’t be technical from the start, unless they (the other person on the line) ask you to be.
  • Get a sound knowledge of Linux, to answer specific questions aimed at testing your concepts and your grip. And for this matter, I would suggest you take up the Linux course from Intellipaat, which provides technical video courses and guided projects for hands-on experience.
  • And then once you are capable enough, then have a look at our blog post on top Linux interview questions.

That’s it, you are ready for the next Linux interview. Also, if you are interested in learning more about the Linux interview questions, then check out our YouTube video on Linux Admin Interview Questions.
