Inferential Statistics is different from Descriptive Statistics. And as the name suggests it draws inference or results from a sample of data, to generalize a bigger population data. It is used for drawing conclusions to get an idea about the population using data. If you wish to learn more about Statistics and want to learn how it's being used in the field of Data Science, enroll in a good Data Science course, preferably from Intellipaat, to get yourself certified. And also, watch the following video on Statistics Interview Questions, if you are someone who is preparing for an interview.
