Both, DevOps and AWS are different from each other, even though you might have heard some terms which contain both of these words together like AWS DevOps, etc. Now, you might be wondering what these are. Let me break down it for you. AWS is a cloud service provider, in fact, the largest cloud player in the market. It offers services to the customer in three different levels, such as IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service), PaaS (Platform as a Service) and SaaS (Software as a Service). Cloud is the new alternative to the conventional Datacenters, through which you could access your data from any part of the world, and could scale up or down based on the need of the time. It’s safe, secure, reliable, cost-effective, and versatile.

Whereas, DevOps is a completely different ideology altogether. It is a methodology or a culture change inside the software development domain. Earlier there were two teams within software development who took care of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) separately. It had quite a huge number of disadvantages to it, which for a long time, held the development of software at a rapid pace, which it has achieved today. DevOps has integrated these separate teams into one, and now both teams work together. One team writes the code continuously (developers), and the other (operations) tests it continuously. Thus, making the whole cycle of software development efficient and effective.

AWS DevOps is AWS offering DevOps in the cloud for its customers to offer the best services, combining the power of AWS with the new versatile culture of DevOps.
