  • National-Level Exams: Institutes also accept scores from national-level entrance exams such as the XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test) the GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test), or other similar exams commonly used for management programs.
  • Joint Admission Test (IIT JAM 2024): IIT JAM 2024 welcomes candidates of all nationalities, including Indian and foreign applicants. Those aspiring for admission to academic programs covered by JAM 2024. It is scheduled for February 14, 2024 (Sunday), and JAM 2024 will be conducted as a computer-based online examination.
  • The test will be administered as a computer-based Test (CBT), where candidates will encounter questions presented on a computer screen.
  • The duration of the JAM 2024 examination will be three hours for each of the seven test papers. 
  • All examination papers will be in the English language only. Comprising a total of 60 questions, each question will carry 100 points. The paper will be divided into three parts: A, B, and C. All sections are mandatory. The questions in each section will have different formats:
    • Section A: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) with 30 questions
    • Section B: Multiple Select Questions (MSQ) with 10 questions
    • Section C: Numerical Answer Type Questions (NAT) with 20 questions
  • Specific University Entrance Exams: Some universities may have their own entrance exams designed for their Data Science programs. Be sure to check with the universities you are interested in for their specific requirements.
