At the moment both these platforms are equally good for a promising career. As AWS has been in the market for longer it does have a wider user base but many enterprise organizations that use Microsoft products are tending to use Azure. Both AWS and Azure are quickly launching more and more services and expanding their reach. So if you are planning on learning either one of them you need to take into account the services you wish to use and the industry you wish to use them in.
