Hadoop is an open-source framework that is used to store data and run applications on Hadoop clusters. It provides a storage area for a large amount of data, processing power, and also a platform to handle multiple jobs and tasks. It is also used to develop applications of data processing that can be executed in an environment of distributed computing.

The Hadoop framework allows the processing of Big Data by making use of a cluster of computing systems or nodes. It enables some NoSQL distributed databases like HBase that allow you to spread the data across numerous servers without affecting the system performance.

To learn in detail about Hadoop, you must read the Hadoop Tutorial.

Also, if you want to become a successful Hadoop Developer you should enroll in Hadoop Training.
