How to start competitive programming?

I want to start participating in competitive programming but I have no idea. Can anyone help me on how to start?

Competitive programming is fun. There are a lot of companies that conduct these competitive programming challenges for Python, C, Java, etc. You need to think and able to code fast. It would be difficult to excel in the beginning. Start with the beginner level and go to the next levels. You may be stuck at some point.
