Can anyone tell me which version of java should I use for installing spark?

Initially, Spark was created and open-sourced in 2011 and totally rewritten the second version in 2014. The version 2 was hugely centred on Java 8 version. Hence, Java 7 is not supported by Spark. So, Install Java 8 version for Spark. To check the version of Java, you can use the “java –version” command in the terminal window.
