Azure Rights Management is an Azure’s cloud-based protection technology that secures your data across multiple devices such as phones, tablets, and PCs. It uses encryption, identity, and authorization policies for protecting your data – files, and emails.

Data can be secured both within your organization and outside your organization since that protection remains with the data and even when it leaves your organization’s boundaries.

For example, an employee can email a document to a client or save a document to their cloud drive. Azure RMS which is a protection service helps to secure your company data, legally mandated for compliance, legal discovery requirements, and good information management practices.
