How to deal with missing values in Machine Learning?

Can anyone tell me how to deal with missing values in Machine Learning?

When you have missing values in a particular column in your dataset and majority of the values in the column are missing, then you can just delete the column. Otherwise, either you can fill the missing values with the mean of the column or fill them with zero.
