R programming is widely used for statistical analysis. It consists of various packages and functions for creating a shelf graph that helps visualize large volumes of data (Big Data). Therefore, R programming proves to be a helpful tool for Big Data Analytics due to its capability of handling large volumes of data. One of the R programming tools for Big Data Analytics is RHadoop. It has a set of packages that provides functionality for data analysis using the R environment. Some of the R packages used for Big Data are rhdfs, rmr2, rhbase, plyrmr, and ravro.
