Could someone tell me what is PL/SQL?

PL/SQL or Procedural Structure Query Language is the procedural language extension to SQL. PL/SQL is Oracle’s procedural extension for SQL and its relational database. This extension adds many procedural constructs to the existing SQL to minimize its limitations.
