Could someone tell me what is Splunk used for?

Splunk is used for searching, monitoring, and examining machine-generated Big Data all in a user-friendly interface. Splunk performs several other features like capturing, indexing and correlating the real-time data in a searchable container by using which it could produce graphs, reports, dashboards, visualizations, etc.
