The shortcut key to remove scroll lock in Excel is Shift + F14. For those of you who don’t know what Scroll lock is let me give a brief example, what happens when you press the arrow keys when you are working inside a worksheet, the active cell moves up, down, left, or right. So, when you want to lock the active cell, you apply the Scroll lock. When that is enabled, the next time you press the arrow keys, you will move one row down or up, and if you press left or right, you could go one column at a time, and still, that active cell won’t change.
