AZ-500 certification or Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate certification is a role-based certification offered by Microsoft Azure. Candidates who pass this certification earn the title, Microsoft Certified Security Engineer Associate. There are 4 different objectives of this certification exam, that one needs to master to pass the exam and they are:

1. Implementing Azure platform protection
2. Managing Azure identity and access
3. Manage Azure security operations
4. Secure data and applications on Azure.

If anyone interested to take this exam, then he/she must be proficient in networking and virtualization, and should be familiar with automation, scripting, Azure products and services, and other cloud capabilities.
