How to install CouchBase Server?

The steps to install Couchbase server is very simply. It can be installed in any of the system including Centos Linux, Ubuntu Linux, OS X System, and Windows System.

• Download the Couchbase server by using the wget command
• For installing the Couchbase Server on Centos Linux:

• First as a root, log on to the server.
• For installation, follow the command given below: couchbase-server-version. RPM
• Put the name of the downloaded version in place of the above command
• Make sure the installation is completed.
• Once the  installation is 100 percent  the server will start without any command input.

• Installing Couchbase Server in Ubuntu Linux Systems:

The following steps allow you to have a successful installation of the Couchbase Server on the Ubuntu Linux System

• First as a root, log on to the server.
• Install OpenSSL by commanding as follows:$ apt-get install lib sslversion.
• Add a version number in place of version.
• Install the server using the command: couchbase-server-version.deb.
• Put the name of the downloaded version in place of the above command
• Make sure the installation is completed.
• Once the  installation is 100 percent  the server will start without any command input.

• Installing Couchbase Server in OS X Systems:

The following steps allow you to have a successful installation of the Couchbase Server in the OS X System

To install Couchbase Server:

• With the server package, download the file of the server
• Check if the zip file can be automatically expanded
• If not, then expand it
• From the downloaded folder, select the file and place it in the folder of the applications
• Double click it for opening the server.
• For security hindrance, double click the server icon and open the menu that pops up

• Installing Couchbase Server in Windows Systems:

The following steps allow you to have a successful installation of Couchbase Server in the Windows System

• Open the file by clicking it twice and start to install.
• Change the location of the installation if required.
• As instructed by the instructor, change the port itself.
• Select YES for increasing the port numbers of the ephemeral.
• Apply the changes required by the port if the successful installation is done.
