Satya Nadela has changed a lot over the year after he became the Microsoft CEO. Microsoft is not limited to window production only. The focus of the company has gradually shifted to its mobile-first, cloud-first business. The reason is very simple with so many technological advancements and automated home & car systems generating a lot of data, the humongous data has to be stored somewhere. 90% of the world’s data has been generated over the last two years. So what Microsoft can do is, it can make a dent through providing cloud services and thereby, stay relevant. Microsoft has always played a key role in providing awesome developer tools and framework. Cloud computing is the future and this is what Microsoft is trying to expand its Azure wings for more reach and impact. I think Microsoft would try to have Azure and maybe VSTS under the hood of GitHub. Nothing will hopefully change for GitHub from the users or developers point of view as mentioned by Satya Nadela:-

Nadela says that when it comes to our commitment to open-source, people can judge us by the actions we have taken in the recent past, our actions today and in the future, Nadella said in a conference call discussing the acquisition. To know more about GitHub whether if you are an absolute beginner or you have a little knowledge of GitHub in that case to learn GitHub and all its concepts such as pull request or creating a repository in detail which is necessary for a programmer you can learn it by taking up the GitHub training course.
