If you enjoy it then it is worth learning. If you break into data science for wages and your current job pays you well then it’s not worth it. The salary scale of the data scientist is between 85K to 140K and it depends on the location. In my view, the data scientist who spent hundreds of hours learning multivariable calculus, linear algebra, statistics, python, R, …etc worth a lot more than 140K. Data Science is an emerging technology as data is exponentially developing day by day and it is very challenging to process this huge amount of data using the traditional devices and IT companies are searching for professionals who can process this huge amount of data using the latest tools & technologies.
