I am interested in Data Science. Could anyone tell me how to start in data science?

Follow these steps to get started with Data Science:

• Get familiar with anyone programming languages of Python, R programming or SAS
• Learn mathematical concepts like linear algebra, calculus, gradient descent
• Learn Statistical concepts like measures of central tendency and variance, probability distributions, Hypothesis testing, Bayesian statistics.
• Learn machine learning algorithms like Linear regression, logistic regression, SVM, Decision trees, Random forest, XG boost, etc.
• Try to learn data visualization tools whichever you feel comfortable
