JIRA is a tool for project management, bug tracking, and issue tracking, developed by Atlassian, an Australian company. Its name is inherited from a Japanese word for “Godzilla”. This tool was introduced as a bug and issue tracker, but it has evolved over time, and now it is used for tracking and planning software development, test case scenarios, agile project management, etc. to meet the needs for all kinds of use cases.

If you plan to add expertise in JIRA in your profile, make sure to get yourself registered for the project management training course from Intellipaat, which offers you a host of courses on developing this skill set. These courses are of industry standard and anyone could get themselves registered irrespective of their prior skills.
