Could someone tell me whether Kubernetes is free?

Kubernetes is Google developed free and open-sourced container-orchestration tool that could even be downloaded from the Kubernetes repository on GitHub. but the only thing is that the administrators must build and deploy Kubernetes in a cluster on a system or cloud.

Whereas, popular cloud vendors offer managed Kubernetes services for a price tag as a subscription for the services you use. Like Amazon EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service), Microsoft has AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) and Google has GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine), etc.
