Career Transition Story
I Enrolled in an AWS Certification training course with Intellipaat, which helped me achieve the technical confidence to crack interviews and secure a job at an MNC like Locuz for a 60% salary hike. I finished my Btech in 2014 and was preparing for different competitive exams. Parallelly, I was also trying to get into the IT domain for career growth. After facing a lot of challenges, I took up a job as a customer relations executive. Till that time, the only technical knowledge I had was in Linux and some basic knowledge in Java and C. I realized that I don’t have much of a future pursuing a non-technical field as there was neither much job security nor anything new to learn. Thus, I decided to transition into a Tech career for better and more lucrative prospects. One of the major challenges that I faced during this transition was my lack of technical skillsets. Apart from that I also had 3-4 years of a gap since the time I graduated.
