AWS IoT acts as the mediator between the components and the network. It, hence, gathers information from both and works on them. AWS IoT is defined as a platform that enables us to connect devices to various AWS services and with other devices, secure data and interactions, process and act upon the device data, and also allow applications to interact with devices even when they are offline.

AWS IoT has the following gears:

Gears Description
Message Broker It gives safety to IoT and its uses. For issuing and donating, we have to use MQTT and HTTP REST IP.
Rules Engine Correlation of different services of the same kind is done by the rules engine. For processing and transferring information, SQL-based codes like Amazon S3, DB, Lambda, etc. are chosen.
Thing Shadow It is also called a device shadow. It gives the present data of any component connected to IoT, for which a JSON material is used.
Security and Identity Service It takes care of protection on a shared basis. Message transfer to/from different ‘things’ is done using this service with confidential credentials
Device Gateway It allows gadgets to interact with IoT in a safe and sound environment
